After all the hype around Reggie Bush being the #1 hands-down pick in this year's draft, it has been announced by the Houston Texans organization that they have reached an agreement with North Carolina State Defensive End Mario Williams as the #1 pick in the 2006 NFL draft.
The deal is reportedly worth $54 million dollars over 6 years, of which $26.5 million is guaranteed.
Now that Reggie Bush has fallen from the pinnacle of Draft Day, the Saints may very well entertain a trade offer to a team willing to sale their football souls for Bush at #2. This signifanctly changes the shape of this year's draft as the Texans have blindsided many by going with Williams.
