Post-Combine Offensive Linemen Review
Combine Studs
- Justin Blalock- Blalock put up an outstanding 40 reps in the bench press and he seemed athletic. Blalock was already a first-round pick and made himself look even better with his impressive combine performance.
- Tony Ugoh- Ugoh was impressive, putting up strong performances in the 40 and the bench, plus finding himself up high in the charts in vertical and broad jump.
- Allen Barbre- Performed well at the combine, including finishing first in the 40. The 40 isn't necessarily important for offensive linemen, but it gets his name out there.
Combine Duds
- Arron Sears- Sears did not compete in most drills and only managed 21 reps in the bench press. Not the performance we were looking for from Sears, and could drop him badly.
- Ryan Harris- Only 22 reps in the bench press and his stock continues to slip, likely out of the first day.
- Stephen Berg- 19 reps doesn't cut it, meaning Berg will likely go undrafted.
