Post-Combine RBs Review

Combine Studs

- Chris Henry- Henry went from being a borderline draft pick to a Day 1 consideration after running a 4.4 40 at the combine (originally recorded at 4.33), plus being near the top of the charts in many drills. Henry will likely not be chosen until some time on Day 2, but his stock has definitely increased immensely.

- Adrian Peterson- Peterson may have been the greatest stud of any at the combine. Hours after finding out his brother had been fatally shot, Peterson went out and put up a 4.4 40 and a 38 1/2 inch vertical jump.

- Brian Leonard- Leonard wants to be a tailback in the NFL, and he showed at the combine he had the goods to do so.

- Brandon Jackson- Jackson moved up his stock with a good overall performance at the combine, making him a definite 2nd-round possibility.

Combine Duds

- Gary Russell- Russell flunked out of Minnesota this year, and after not playing ball this year, he showed up at the combine way out of shape and performed horribly. Don't expect to hear his name called on draft day.

- Tyrone Moss- 4.75 is not an acceptable 40 time, and Moss went from being a first-day possibility to a late-round pick at best.
