Post-Combine Defensive Ends Review
Combine Studs
- Brian Robison- Robison was an absolute star at the combine, putting up the best performances among all linemen in the vertical jump, with a 40 1/2 vertical jump, outstanding for a lineman, as well as in the three cone drill, broad jump. He also put up the best 40 in his group with a 4.67, and he looked good in the positional drills. Robison helped his stock possibly more than anyone else and will be drafted on Day 1.
- Gaines Adams- Putting up the best 40 time among all defensive linemen will do nothing but help. Being among the top 5 in his group in all other measurable drills won't hurt either.
- Adam Carriker- Carriker was very impressive in all of his drills, especially in the bench press by putting up 33 reps, tied for most by all defensive ends.
Combine Duds
- Quentin Moses- After a disappointing senior season, Moses needed a good combine and he did not deliver, only managing 17 reps in the bench and disappointing in the drills, leaving Moses basically no chance of being selected in the first round.
- Noland Burchette- 15 reps and a 5.1 40. Good luck on the free agent wire.
