It's been confirmed that a trade has taken place in the 2nd round. Josh McCown and Mike Williams were both traded to the Oakland Raiders. This was for the 105th (4th round) pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
The Titans deal fell through when the Titans weren't willing to offer anything better than Oakland and also because Oakland had a higher draft pick order than the Titans did throughout the later rounds.
The Oakland receiving corp now includes Randy Moss, Mike Williams and Jerry Porter. It appears Mike Williams will fade off into the sunset with the rest of the NFL's misfits in Oakland. |
