After an exciting week 2 of college football, I have decided I will now be posting about the players each week whose draft stock has truly been impacted or showcased, mostly those who it is for the better.

Week 2:

Jacob Hester, FB, LSU - Jacob Hester is a rushing threat at fullback, and while he doesn't quite possess the talent of Brian Leonard, I think Hester is the draft's top fullback this year.

Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville - In Brohm's first two games this year, he has done nothing but prove that he is the draft's top quarterback. Needless to say, he hasn't had to face a formidable test yet, but so far, he has looked fantastic.

Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers - As a junior, Ray Rice is already Rutgers' all-time leading rusher. Darren McFadden and Steve Slaton are top 10 picks, but Ray Rice is not far behind them. Rice should be a first-round pick and he's a possible Heisman winner too.

Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma - Malcolm Kelly has great speed, great hands, and great elusiveness. He also has the ability to make a fantastic play at any time, and reminds me a lot of Calvin Johnson. While he still has a ways to go to prove he is better than DeSean Jackson, it could be said that Kelly is the draft's best receiver prospect, and he may have more upside.

Andre Callender, RB, Boston College - In the BC-NC game, it turned out that Andre Callender was the running back who put on a great performance, not Andre Brown.

Dennis Dixon, QB, Oregon - Chad Henne was the highly regarded quarterback prospect in the Oregon-Michigan game, but it was Dixon who looked like a first-day pick, not Henne. While Henne and the Wolverines continue to stumble, Oregon improved to 2-0 with Dixon throwing for 3 TDs and rushing for 1. Dixon had 76 yards on the ground; Henne had -19.

Jasper Brinkley, ILB, South Carolina - On a night where Virginia Tech's defense was exposed and South Carolina upset Georgia, Brinkley may have moved ahead of Vince Hall in the ILB rankings.

Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii - Hawaii almost lost to Louisiana Tech, but Brennan's stats were once again fantastic, as Brennan went 43-61 with 548 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interceptions. It wasn't quite the performance Brennan had last week going 34-40 with 6 touchdowns in one half, but the guy is human.
