Brady Quinn
Quarterback, Notre Dame
Height: 6'4" | Weight: 230

Positives: Great size for a QB at around 6’4, 230 pounds. Displays tremendous leadership and experience. Good pocket presence; has no trouble feeling pressure and moving up into the pocket. Strong and difficult to bring down. Has tremendous arm strength. Can run when necessary. Displays quality footwork and good accuracy while on the run. Good knowledge of the game and knows how to read a defense quickly. Benefited greatly from Charlie Weis’ ‘NFL style’ offense. Missed no game action during his 4-year career at Notre dame. Has experienced and is used to high-pressure situations.

Negatives: Gets flustered at times and will make mistakes. Release is good but great. Struggled somewhat during his senior year, although overall his year was good. Played in Charlie Weis’ NFL style offense; some believe he could be a ‘system quarterback.’

Overall: Quinn chose not to work out in Indianapolis at this year’s combine, save the bench press. He impressed in that workout, putting 225 pounds up 25 times. Seems to be a bit wrapped up in himself, maybe it’s just confidence. All in all, could be a franchise quarterback.

NFL Comparison : Carson Palmer, CIN
