Players in the combine will be
measured by weight, height, arm/hand length
and body fat percentages.
• NFL Team Interviews
This allows for teams to interview up
to 60 players in attendance to gauge
football knowledge, character and mental
prowess.
• The Wonderlic Test
This test is designed to test a
player's intelligence as a point of
reference. The test is 50 questions long and
players are afforded 23 minutes to complete
the test.
• The Cybex Test
This test is designed to test a
player's join movement and flexibility and
is typically a key point of measure for
players who have been recently injured or
are still injured when participating in the
combine.
• Injury Evaluation
This test includes x-rays and
physicals to ensure a player is healthy and
all injuries have healed. This is usually
considered extensive in nature in order for
NFL clubs to best assess the health of a
player.
• Urine Test
This test is specifically for identifying
the use of any illegal substance within a
player that is a potential draftee. The list
of illegal substances are defined by the
National Football League. |
